Model components with specific impacts

In Ecodesign Studio, it is not possible to assign impacts directly to components. If you have specific impact values for a component, provided by your supplier for example, there are two ways of adding this type of data:

• Create a “material” data containing the environmental impacts provided, then add this material to a component in the BOM.

• Create material data corresponding to unit impacts (for example, one data item corresponding to an impact of 1 kg CO2 eq, another corresponding to 1 kg SB eq, etc.). Then, in your BOM, integrate these material data into your component according to the impact values communicated by your supplier.
