Use the Functional Unit (FU)

The Functional Unit describes the performance of the product studied, and provides the framework for comparing different projects. It therefore gives an indication of the quantity of components required for the product studied to deliver the performance described (and in particular, the lifetime). This information can be entered in the project workspace description.

If the product modeled has a UF of 10 years, it is possible to enter 0.1 in the comparative analysis module. This will take into account all life-cycle stages and represent a product with a UF of one year.
