Tuto : Update my projects

Duplication

In the projects list, a blue "Upgrade parameters" button is available for all projects that can be upgraded (a higher version of the database used is available).

To update your project, click on the blue button then select ‘Duplicate the project’.

There are then 2 possible scenarios:

  1. All the data is up to date, so all you have to do is confirm the upgrade.

  1. One or more of the data used in the project has not been updated. To do this, go to the Database interface and follow the instructions in the following article: Update my private data.

Link management

For projects containing one or more nested models, links between projects must be managed.

For example, the "Glass teapot" project calls on another "Recycled cardboard packaging" project.

To upgrade the "Glass teapot" project, the link with the "Recycled cardboard packaging" project must be set to the new version of the database.

You then have 2 possible choices:

  1. Upgrade the "Recycled cardboard packaging" project to the next higher version, evoinvent 3.9.1 in our example. This corresponds to a duplication (detailed in the first part of the article).
  2. Link the "Recycled cardboard packaging" to models already existing in the higher version of evoinvent 3.9.1. This corresponds to the Link Management function (see details below).

To start managing links, click on the blue "Upgrade parameters" button.

Then select ‘Link management’.

The different links in the reference model and its variants can be managed. To delete a link, simply select ‘Select a model’.

Once the links have been defined, click on ‘Confirm’.
