Apply a process to the whole product
To add a process that applies to the entire product (e.g. sterilization, drying, or assembly of all components) you can follow the steps below:
- Create a sub-assembly with a weight of 0.00001g to avoid distorting the total mass of the product.
- Then add the corresponding process(es) without raw material data.
- If the unit of the added process is kg (e.g. "injection molding (kg)"), be sure to enter the total weight of the product when entering the data. The calculation will take into account the amount of energy required to produce X kg of material, without taking into account the impact of the raw material itself.
